I have ridden horses all my life and have never had the opportunity until recently to purchase our first custom made new saddle. I wanted a saddle that was versatile enough to suit both my husband and myself. Apart from hubby being taller we had the same size butt which was excellent to work around. I recently purchased a Western Drafter Slimline Saddle fitted with cable rigging. After riding in it for most of the season I have found it to be comfortable and the cable rigging allows for closer contact with my horse. The girth sits straight, no matter what horse I ride, also it sits flatter under the saddle. I am very happy with my purchase and would happily recommend cable rigging on a Kent saddle. We have been to a couple of campdrafts and rodeos which were a lot of fun. I used my Kent saddle at the campdrafts - it was the first time I had done that sort of thing so it was good fun. My Kent saddle is the best investment I have made. I am in the saddle for many hours and needed something comfortable and this saddle has moulded to my seat perfectly.
